Production Team Assistant Henry Farms is a family owned and operated business located in Dane, WI. We specialize in growing quality seed corn and premium grains for our customers. Additionally, we produce the grains used in our bourbon and rye whiskey production.
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Production Assistant to join our team at Henry Farms LLC. The ideal candidate will have a passion for agriculture, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment. As a Production Team Assistant, you will assist in the daily operations of the farm, helping with tasks that support raising hybrid seed corn during the growing season and conditioning and bagging during the winter.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist with planting, tillage, detasseling, and harvesting cropsOperate farm machinery and equipment safelyAssist with irrigation, crop rotation, and pest controlAssist in crop scouting, silk and pollen inspections, and tassel countsMaintain and repair equipment and other farm infrastructureAssist with conditioning and baggingHelp with seasonal tasks and special projects as neededQualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Botany, Crop Science, or Agriculture related program preferredPrior experience in farming or agriculture preferredAbility to operate farm machinery (e.g., tractors, forklift, skid steer) is a plusStrong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditionsReliable and punctual with a strong attention to detailEffective oral and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamBenefits include:
