Job Summary:Seasonal Lead Park Workers for Golf Maintenance are responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the golf course.
Essential Responsibilities:- Perform all maintenance aspects of the golf course including mowing greens, tees, fairways and rough, raking and maintaining bunkers, upkeeping the club house grounds, and filling divots.
- Hand water hot spots on the golf course.
- Apply pesticides and fertilizer to the golf course.
- Perform maintenance and repairs of the irrigation system.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Possession of a valid United States Driver's License, able to be maintained through employment.
- At least 18 years of age at the time of application.
- At least one (1) year of Golf Course Maintenance experience.
This original application is open to permanent residents of the United States. Appointee must establish residency in the state of Wisconsin within six months of start date and maintain such residency during incumbency. In accordance with Section 11, Rule 3 of the Civil Service Rules a non-competitive examination will be held for this position. The non-competitive examination will consist of criteria deemed appropriate by the Director of Human Resources.
