The Dealership Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of the dealership's exterior grounds and surrounding areas. This includes landscaping, general maintenance, snow/ice removal (seasonal), and ensuring the dealership lot is clean and organized to create a welcoming environment for customers.
Job Expectations
- Maintain the cleanliness of parking lots, walkways, and display areas
- Trim shrubs, pull weeds, and perform other landscaping duties
- Sweep, blow, and pressure wash exterior surfaces regularly
- Clear snow and ice from sidewalks and lot during winter months
- Ensure all trash and debris are removed from the grounds and trash bins are emptied
- Maintain outdoor signage, flags, and banners
- Perform basic repairs to fences, curbs, or outdoor fixtures as needed
- Notify management of any safety hazards or maintenance issues
- Support general facility upkeep, including cleaning windows and exterior walls
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous groundskeeping or landscaping experience is a plus
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift up to 50 lbs
- Pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screen
