In this role, you will be a key player in supporting our Quality Management System (QMS) and driving continuous improvement across the organization. You will work closely with the Quality & Continuous Improvement Manager to ensure our products meet the high standards our customers expect, while helping us streamline our lean manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Systems Support: Assist in developing and maintaining the QMS, including drafting inspection procedures and work instructions.
  • Inspection & Testing: Conduct incoming inspections on purchased items/samples and oversee in-process and finished goods inspections.
  • Equipment Calibration: Manage and perform internal/external calibrations for all measurement and test equipment.
  • Complaint Resolution: Investigate customer complaints for validity, process RMAs, and inspect returned products.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify process gaps, report anomalies, and actively participate in Lean improvement events.
  • Documentation: Maintain meticulous inspection records and generate comprehensive test reports for leadership.
What You Bring to the Table
  • Background: High School diploma or equivalent; knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality systems.

  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively report findings across departments.
  • Versatility: Ability to safely operate a lift truck and navigate a variety of environments—from the office to the warehouse and manufacturing floor.
Physical Requirements & Environment
  • Location: This position is based at our Milwaukee, WI headquarters.
  • Environment: A hybrid of office, warehouse, and light manufacturing settings.
  • Physical: Ability to stand, walk, and sit as needed, with the capacity to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds. Specific visual abilities (color, depth perception, and focus) are required for inspection accuracy.
