Schedule:
- Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Pay: Up to $28.00/hour (based upon experience, skill set, and shift)
- Inspects 1st pieces, and in-process parts, and does final inspections on precision products.
- Works with blueprints, specifications, work orders or documents, and procedures to verify quality.
- Make sure that measuring and testing equipment are set up and working correctly.
- Ensures that company and customer quality control practices, inspection plans, quality systems, and procedures are satisfied.
- Creates and maintains quality reports/documentation and communication findings to appropriate personnel.
- Identify areas for quality control improvement.
- Reporting to the quality assurance manager.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education: High School / GED
Experience &Skills:
- Minimum 1 year of progressive quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
- Basic ability to use measuring tools and other inspection instruments (calipers, gauges, ROMER measuring arm, etc.)
- Ability to read, write, and understand work instructions
- Basic auditing knowledge as relates to ISO standard
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
