Alchemy is partnering with a leading aerospace and defense organization seeking a Chief Inspector to join their team in Milwaukee, WI.

The role will be responsible for the management of the Inspection Department.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensure the repair station is operated in compliance with all applicable FAA regulations
  • Maintain the official Repair Station Roster
  • Approve the line level Capability List Changes
  • Maintain Calibration Program
  • Maintain Shelf-Life Program
  • Maintain Scrap program
  • Perform Final and In-Process Inspections
  • Supervise the activities of the quality inspectors during the repair/overhaul operations and addresses and resolve inspection and quality issues
  • Participate in, and assure accomplishment of the Internal Audit Program
  • Participate in, and assure accomplishment of external supplier audits
  • Liaison between the Repair Station and FAA as needed
  • Secure and maintain current technical data approved for the repair stations to use
  • Actively participate in maintaining the Quality Manuals and all associated documents.
  • Assist the Director of Quality with customer Quality Surveys
  • Maintain company records as required by the quality and export compliance systems under the direction of the Director of Quality
  • The Chief Inspector may delegate any and all of his duties to other qualified individuals within the company. However, this delegation does not relieve the Chief Inspector of the ultimate responsibility for these duties.
Requirements
  • Possesses either an FAA Airframe, or Airframe/Powerplant, or be eligible for a Repairman certificate upon taking the position,
  • 5-10 Years of relevant Inspection and/or Quality Experience in Aviation Maintenance or Repair Station operations,
  • Good leadership, management, and communication skills
