Quality Compliance Technician
Location: Milwaukee, WI (Onsite)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
Compensation: $26.25/hr - $35.00/hr
Compensation for this position includes hourly salary, short-term incentive bonus, and full benefits package offerings. The exact amount of base salary may vary based on experience and skills brought to the role.
About the RoleViking Electric is seeking a Quality Compliance Technician to help ensure our products consistently meet customer, contractual, and regulatory quality standards. In this hands‑on role, you'll inspect materials and products, document quality results, collaborate with Sales and Supply Chain teams, and support continuous improvement initiatives across our network.
If you're detail-oriented, comfortable in warehouse/distribution environments, and experienced in quality assurance within manufacturing or engineering services, this is a great opportunity to make a direct impact on product quality and customer satisfaction.
What You'll Do- Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process items, and finished products.
- Record inspection results to ensure traceability and compliance.
- Support Sales and Supply Chain with guidance on quality and compliance issues.
- Monitor product quality across the supply chain and identify root causes of defects.
- Assist with corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in quality-related projects and audits as needed.
- Follow all Viking Electric safety, ethics, and compliance policies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control.
- Experience with in electrical manufacturing or engineering services preferred.
- Working knowledge of PPAP and First Article Inspections (FAI).
- Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
- Strong documentation, recordkeeping, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% if needed.
- Flexibility for occasional last‑minute travel or additional hours.
- Ability to work independently and follow established procedures.
- Based in a warehouse and distribution center environment.
- Regular walking, standing, bending, and lifting.
- Exposure to varying temperatures, moderate to high noise levels.
- Operation of industrial equipment (training/certification provided as applicable).
