Quality Lead

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System.
• Lead daily quality activities on the production floor and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Assist with internal and external audits and follow-up on corrective actions.
• Monitor quality metrics and report on performance trends.
• Investigate non-conformances and customer complaints, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Work closely with production, engineering, and operations teams to resolve quality issues.
• Provide training and guidance to team members on quality procedures and best practices.
• Conduct inspections and ensure proper documentation and record-keeping.
• Support supplier quality activities as needed.
• Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the organization.
• Perform ISO Readiness audits and assist in the ISO certification process.

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience. 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance in a manufacturing environment. Working knowledge of quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001). Experience with quality tools (root cause analysis, corrective actions, basic Lean/Six Sigma). Strong problem solving and organizational skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Ability to read, write, analyze, and interpret general business documents in English.
