Position: Quality Technician 3 - 401 CVG300

Job Overview

The Quality Technician 3 plays a critical role in ensuring product quality and compliance across manufacturing processes  position supports operational excellence by conducting inspections, performing quality testing, and identifying non‑conforming materials to protect product integrity. By contributing to root cause investigations and corrective actions, this role directly impacts continuous improvement initiatives and overall product reliability.

Location

On‑site at one of Jabil’s Florence, KY facilities located in the Cincinnati Northern KY area. The site supports high‑growth AI and cloud infrastructure customers, spanning server and rack integration, and data center operations where quality, speed, and traceability are essential.

Shift

Sunday–Tuesday / Sunday–Wednesday, 5:00AMto4:30PM. 12‑hour shifts working 3‑day and 4‑day weeks, rotating Wednesdays. 401 Shift

A.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct visual inspections and dimensional checks on incoming, in‑process, and finished products
  • Perform quality control tests using appropriate tools and equipment
  • Document inspection and test results accurately and thoroughly
  • Identify and isolate non‑conforming materials
  • Initiate and track material disposition activities
  • Assist in root cause analysis investigations for quality issues
  • Support implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality concerns
  • Maintain detailed quality documentation and records
  • Communicate quality‑related information to internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist in training new employees on quality procedures and standards
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements
  • Support development and updates of quality documentation
  • Lead or participate in small quality‑related projects
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred; not required or equivalent experience acceptable
  • Additional technical or quality‑related training preferred
  • Proven experience in Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience working with inspection tools, testing processes, and quality documentation
  • Proficient with the English language, both reading and writing
  • Strong ability to interpret visual aids, blueprints, and specifications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective problem‑solving and analytical abilities
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Demonstrated leadership capability and ability to influence others
  • Understanding of quality standards and manufacturing processes
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience leading small quality projects or initiatives
  • Previous experience supporting CAPA processes
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
