Inventory Control Trainer ILocation:
CVG Building 100
Shift: 5:30pm – 5:00am, Continental Shift – Sunday‑Tuesday and every other Wednesday
Establish, conduct, and monitor training programs in the Inventory Control processes.
Responsibilities- Organize, schedule and conduct on‑the‑job training.
- Certify and recertify inventory control positions with established procedures.
- Produce and maintain training records.
- Identify voids in training.
- May be involved in the planning and design of existing course enhancements.
- Develop training plans to accomplish the goals established by Inventory Control.
- Provide training on the inventory control process for new hire personnel assigned to the inventory control area.
- Keep updated records, databases, badges and the training matrix.
- Review process instructions for continuous improvement actions and changes in these processes.
- Evaluate through samples and written tests the training given to clerks/operators.
- Demonstrate a high level of expertise in a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Serve as an advisory point for Inventory Control Trainer I positions.
- Monitor training effectiveness via established evaluation techniques.
- May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Relevant experience in the field.
- Strong ability to present information clearly and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public.
- Skilled in problem‑solving, data collection, fact analysis, and drawing valid conclusions.
- Proficient with Windows‑based operating systems, PC software, and advanced computer applications.
- Experienced using company software systems and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow instructions, correspondence, visual aids, and memos.
- Capable of writing simple correspondence and carrying out one‑ or two‑step instructions.
- Comfortable working in standardized environments with minimal variables.
- Strong mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, ratios, and graph interpretation.
