Job Summary:

The IC Cycle Count Trainer (CVG
200) at Jabil, Inc. is responsible for developing, delivering, and maintaining training programs for cycle counting processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in inventory management. This role focuses on onboarding new employees and upskilling existing staff on best practices for inventory verification and discrepancy resolution.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and update comprehensive training materials, including presentations, manuals, and hands-on exercises, for all aspects of IC cycle counting.
  • Conduct training sessions for new hires and existing employees, utilizing various instructional techniques to accommodate diverse learning styles.
  • Provide one-on-one coaching and on-the-job training to cycle count personnel, offering constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Assess trainee competency and effectiveness through quizzes, practical demonstrations, and observation, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with inventory management, warehouse operations, and quality assurance teams to identify training needs and implement process improvements.
  • Maintain accurate records of training attendance, completion, and certifications.
  • Stay current with industry best practices for inventory control and cycle counting, incorporating relevant updates into training programs.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new cycle count procedures and technologies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve cycle count discrepancies, using training knowledge to identify potential root causes related to process or execution.
  • Promote a culture of accuracy, safety, and continuous improvement within the cycle counting team.
Job Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required;
    Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in inventory control, cycle counting, or a related warehouse operations role.
  • Demonstrated experience in a training or instructional capacity, preferably within a manufacturing or logistics environment.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles, including cycle counting methodologies (e.g., ABC analysis).
  • Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with an eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
