An Events Bartender’s primary focus is to provide clients with an excellent drinking experience while monitoring alcoholic consumption/maintaining safety. As an Event Bartender, an employee is expected to arrive at events prepared and on time, professionally craft both classic and innovative drinks that exceed customers’ expectations, and always uphold all Pour Inc. standards.

• Hourly pay $10-18/hour
• Tips on top of hourly
• Flexible hours (minimum pay of 4-hour shifts)
• Paid travel time (when the event is outside of the Milwaukee area)

Qualifications:

• 18+ years of age
• Personable, fun, and easy-going
• Hold a valid Wisconsin Bartending License (any county); can be obtained after being hired.
• Ability to travel to events that are outside of Milwaukee.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Report to the Event Lead to obtain specific details for each event
• Maintain a growing mental database of cocktail preparation and presentation
• Confirm guests are of legal drinking age through n
• Set up and break down all equipment required for service
• Prep necessary garnishes
• Monitor guests’ alcoholic intake and exercise your refusal to serve when appropriate
• Inventory beverages (when applicable) before, during, and after each event
• Accept challenges that arise in a positive and proactive way
• Uphold the existing policies and procedures set forth by the Pour Inc. Training Guide and any policies and procedures enforced by the event venue
