This is a full‑time on‑site role for a Line Cook located in Milwaukee, WI. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and plating food items according to menu standards, while maintaining the highest level of quality and efficiency. Daily tasks include ensuring cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety guidelines, and coordinating with kitchen staff to manage food preparation effectively.
Additionally, the role requires maintaining efficient inventory usage and contributing to a positive and productive team atmosphere.
- Culinary and food preparation skills, including knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Proficiency in efficient and accurate cooking techniques, plating, and portion control.
- Strong teamwork, time management, and organizational skills to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to follow recipes and menu standards consistently while bringing creativity to food preparation when appropriate.
- Experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is a plus.
- A certification or degree in culinary arts is advantageous but not required.
- Positive attitude and dedication to delivering high‑quality dining experiences.
