Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Bag groceries at checkout, ensuring contents are not damaged and using best practices for various bag types.
- Assist in removing customer's merchandise from bottom of bascarts for checkout.
- Help customers load bags into their cars.
- Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.
- Return merchandise to store shelves and gather bascarts.
- Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store, including spills and trash.
- Handle seasonal merchandise and understand store layout for locating products and conducting price checks.
- Follow safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and adhere to food safety regulations.
- Inspect equipment and report repairs needed.
- Create a welcoming environment for customers and assist with questions about products.
- Follow all laws, regulations, and company guidelines.
- Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, manage conflicts, and act with honesty and integrity.
- Assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults as needed.
- Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
