OverviewThe Associate is responsible for completing in-store food and non‑food demonstrations. The role includes acquiring and maintaining knowledge of the products represented, preparing, serving, and breaking down product, equipment, and supplies, intercepting consumers and demonstrating products in a professional manner, and maintaining a professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
Responsibilities- Possess the aptitude and ability to gain adequate knowledge of the products represented.
- Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner.
- Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product.
- Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
- Maintain a clean, sterile and safe work station using cleaning chemicals.
- Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the requirements of the job.
- Properly set up and prepare an event table for execution.
- Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
- Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
- Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives.
- Complete expense reports as per Company Policy.
- Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
- Access the internet, navigate company electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents, including Microsoft Word & Adobe PDF forms.
Note: This role is not expected to exceed more than 25 hours per week, although the company may adjust the role based on business needs.

QualificationsEducation/
Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three months’ related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer
Skills:
Proficient in using and navigating a personal computer or mobile device with applications and internal systems.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local food handler permit may be required.
Physical Demands: Regularly required to stand and walk, use hands and fingers, reach overhead up to 65 inches, talk and hear, read instructions, stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step up a ladder, balance, lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds), push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart fully laden with appliances, supplies and product, prepare foods and beverages using required appliances, and be in contact with cleaning supplies.
Supervisory Responsibility: None.
Work Environment: Retail store environment; limited travel.
Physical Appearance: Professional appearance and grooming required; specific retailer dress code to be provided in training.
