Seasonal Golf Pro Shop Lead Park Workers are responsible for the day-to-day operations in the golf pro shop. This position provides customer service, collects fees, and maintains the cleanliness of the clubhouse.

  • Operate computer Point of Sale program to check in customers, collect fees, and balance the cash register. Answer phone calls.
  • Sweep and vacuum floors, clean bathrooms, and stock beverage coolers and snacks.
  • Assist in receiving and selling golf merchandise inventory.
  • Assist in food and beverage ordering.
  • Assist in golf event and tournament preparation and execution.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Possession of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • At least 18 years of age at the time of application.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in a Golf Pro Shop, Customer Service, Hospitality, or a related field.

Note:

This original application is open to permanent residents of the United States. Appointee must establish residency in the state of Wisconsin within six months of start date and maintain such residency during incumbency. In accordance with Section 11, Rule 3 of the Civil Service Rules a non-competitive examination will be held for this position. The non-competitive examination will consist of criteria deemed appropriate by the Director of Human Resources.
