This is a permanent PART-TIME role.
Scan Scape Retail Scan Associates visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps throughout the store. The data collected is analyzed and used to improve sales performance for the product and retailer.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform in-store data collection at assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks.
- Use a portable mobile app to scan barcodes throughout the store.
- Provide quantity for about 45% of scanned products.
- Complete display scanning for entire store each week, which may take several hours.
- Execute client‑requested custom projects that add 1–2 additional hours each week.
- Meet weekly deadlines and maintain high quality and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
- Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto‑insurance coverage.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds for extended periods.
- Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Deadline‑driven self‑starter.
- Reliable Wi‑Fi connection.
- Tech‑savvy and comfortable using a mobile app.
- High school diploma or GED (preferred).
