Title: Shopkeeper/Cultural Keeper Internship
Pay: $17.00/hour
Location: Ol’ Way Healing and Gifts, 960 Main St, Gresham, WI 54128
Responsibilities- Learning about cultural needs, traditions, Indigenous medicines, and traditional plant uses within the community
- Assisting with educational displays related to health, nutrition, sustainable agriculture, and natural resources
- Assisting with processing, packaging, and preserving traditional plants
- Assisting with organizing, stocking, and maintaining shop supplies and inventory
- Conducting sales and providing customer service in the community shop
- Learning basic tribal business operations including sales tracking, marketing, and inventory systems
- Must be a registered college student seeking 6 or more credits
- Must be a degree seeking student at College of Menominee Nation, or another
- College or University (certain documentation may be required to confirm enrollment status)
- Must have completed one semester of studies
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.25 or better (based on a 4.0 scale)
