Assistant Manager role focuses on daily operations, cost controls, inventory, cash handling, customer relations, and staff management. Requires strong judgment, math, and multitasking skills.

You are responsible for everything that happens during your shift, including cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations. You must set an example and follow all policy and procedures, expecting the same from your crew.

Additional responsibilities include staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, food management, working to a schedule, maintaining a perfect image, adhering to standards, delivering great customer service, attendance and punctuality, transportation to/from work, store cleanliness, marketing, and profitability.

You must be 18 years of age or older.

• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.

Orientation and training provided on the job.

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions, and to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; calculator use allowed.
• Make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for rapid, accurate movements.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.

Exposure to varying weather when removing trash and other outside tasks. In-store temperatures range from 36°F in cooler to 90°F+ in some areas. Be aware of fumes, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.

Standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, reaching, hand/eye tasks, tools, equipment, and work aids.

Deliver product by car to customers, deliver flyers and door hangers. Requires valid driver's license, safe driving record, and insured vehicle.

Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within the delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings and private homes.

CARRYING:
Carry pizzas and beverages during delivery. DRIVING:
Deliver pizzas within a designated area. WALKING:
Travel between store, vehicle, and customer locations. CLIMBING:
Navigate five or more flights of stairs may be required.
