Retail Customer Service Specialist

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a Retail Customer Service Specialist to deliver exceptional in-store service and support daily retail operations. In this role, you'll greet customers, assess project needs, recommend paints, coatings, and supplies, and mix and tint products to specification. You will process sales transactions, maintain merchandise displays, restock inventory, and help keep the store clean, safe, and organized. You'll collaborate closely with the team, follow company policies, and use POS systems while growing your technical product knowledge through hands-on learning and training opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers, providing knowledgeable product recommendations
• Mix, tint, and prepare paint and coatings to customer specifications
• Operate POS system to process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately
• Maintain merchandise displays, signage, and store cleanliness
• Restock shelves and participate in inventory counts as directed
• Follow safety procedures for handling products and equipment
• Collaborate with team members to meet store sales and service goals
• Learn and stay current on Sherwin-Williams products and promotions
• Resolve basic customer issues or escalate when necessary
• Support opening and closing procedures for the store
