Client Relationship Manager, Business Development
As the Client Experience Leader, you will oversee a small, agile sales team responsible for guiding prospective clients into the Miller Marriott design-build process and assisting them in identifying and securing suitable land. This role requires actively listening to prospective clients, understanding their design-build and/or real estate goals, and delivering thoughtful, value-driven solutions to Miller Marriott clients and professional partners.
Your primary responsibility will be managing the Client Experience (CE) team to ensure quarterly sales objectives are met, specifically the successful onboarding of new clients into the Miller Marriott process. The CE team collectively supports prospective clients from the initial inquiry stage (via website, phone, or referral) through the execution of a design contract and ultimately into a construction contract for a new Miller Marriott home.
Throughout the sales cycle, you will ensure clients are educated on Miller Marriott’s comprehensive offerings, including land acquisition, architectural design, and construction services. This role also leads the successful transition of clients through Pre-Design into the design process, ensuring a seamless, informed, and high-quality client experience from first contact through project commencement.
As a company, we focus our efforts into building extraordinary homes, and a significant amount of our business is built on referral relationships built over the past 25 years. With new prospective clients, we build relationships over weeks and months – and sometimes years – through education, support, and honesty. While this is a sales position and we do have ambitious goals for the next 5+ years, Miller Marriott is not a pushy or “hard sale” shop, and the ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate an above-average ability to provide true value and build relationships with customers over time.
We are looking for a long-term employee committed to being part of the Lake Country and Southeast Wisconsin community.
