The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and managing customer relationships across an assigned geographic territory. You’ll partner with distributors and end-user customers to grow revenue, expand market presence, and achieve margin goals. This role is ideal for a self-driven sales professional who enjoys building relationships, being on the road, and delivering results.
Responsibilities- Manage and grow relationships with regional distributors and end-user customers
- Own and develop the assigned account base within the territory
- Achieve assigned sales revenue and margin targets
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Monitor competitive activity and market trends
- Plan, track, and report sales activity using CRM tools
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support customer needs and sales objectives
- Maintain accurate customer and opportunity data within Salesforce
- 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in food service, paper, or specialty distribution
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales and margin goals
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Ability to travel up to 50%
