As a Territory Sales Specialist, you will focus on Select Territory accounts, covering an entire suite of Data and Analytic products on both an outbound and inbound basis. You will understand the client’s business needs and align IBM’s value proposition based on solution offerings.
- Develop Client Relationships:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions. Effectively communicate IBM’s value proposition to drive revenue growth and establish IBM as a vendor of choice. - Utilize Digital Tools:
Leverage digital tools to identify and progress opportunities, maintaining a strong pipeline of potential sales. Stay up-to-date on product offerings to provide expert guidance to clients. - Drive Revenue Growth:
Partner across the ecosystem to drive revenue growth, identifying new opportunities and expanding existing relationships. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless solution delivery. - Maintain Product Knowledge:
Stay current on IBM’s product offerings, developing a deep understanding of solutions to act as a trusted advisor to clients. - Progress Opportunities:
Identify and progress opportunities through the sales cycle, utilizing digital tools and collaborating with internal stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.
- Product Offering Knowledge:
Experience with a broad range of Data and Analytic product offerings, with the ability to develop a deep understanding of solutions to act as a trusted advisor to clients. - Digital Sales Tools:
Experience utilizing digital tools to identify and progress opportunities, with the ability to leverage these tools to maintain a strong pipeline of potential sales. - Solution Selling:
Experience aligning value propositions with client business needs, with the ability to effectively communicate solutions to drive revenue growth. - Ecosystem
Collaboration:
Experience partnering across an ecosystem to drive revenue growth, with the ability to identify new opportunities and expand existing relationships. - Sales Cycle Management:
Experience progressing opportunities through the sales cycle, with the ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.
- Broad Industry Knowledge:
Experience with various industries, allowing for a deeper understanding of client business needs and alignment with IBM’s value proposition. - Advanced Digital Literacy:
Exposure to emerging digital trends and tools, enabling effective utilization of digital sales tools to identify and progress opportunities. - Complex Sales
Experience:
Experience managing complex sales cycles, including progressing opportunities and collaborating with internal stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.
