Busy manufacturing company is looking to hire a dynamic Inside Sales professional. Candidates must have 5+ years of experience working at a manufacturing company in an inside sales role. This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity in the $60-70K range.
Responsibilities of Inside Sales:
• Receive and process orders from customers via phone/fax / email.
• Follow up on back orders by reviewing back-order logs weekly.
• Work closely with inside sales to help process quote inquiries.
• Work with production to be up to date on any delays on materials, products and if there are any press scheduling conflicts.
• Work with shipping if there are any last-minute changes to orders, either for example if quantity or shipping information changes to advise them as quickly as possible so there is very little disruption to our shipping department.
• Receive purchase orders from customers.
• Fill out forecast and open order reports for customers as requested.
• Work closely with production and sales teams on orders and scheduling within the production floor.
• Process material schedules for the shop floor daily.
• Work with shipping daily to make sure orders are shipped in a timely manner.
• Follow up with customers on order status and if shipments are late and or new ship date information.
• Enter orders for my designated sales reps in a timely and accurate manner.
• Answering questions about purchase orders and invoice inquiries
• Enter orders for replacement parts as needed for installations in the field.
• Take phone calls regarding product questions and order inquiries.
• Assist with the engineering and purchasing department in updating and completing workbooks, ECN's and Ludman's opening job list.
Requirements
Qualifications:
• Proficiency in reading drawings.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office. (Extremely Proficient in Excel)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to type no less than 30 - 40 words per minute.
Education and experience:
• Associate degree or equivalent (Helpful).
• Minimum of [5] years of experience in using Microsoft Office and reading mechanical drawings as in (BOM) Bill of Materials (Draftsman/Detailer skills can be helpful)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
