Commercial Sales Representative – Construction & Building Materials Industry

DH Pace Company Inc. is inviting a District Commercial Sales Representative to join our Milwaukee, Wisconsin team. The successful candidate will build relationships and sell commercial doors and door products, focusing on business development.
Responsibilities- Meet with decision makers to influence the purchase of our comprehensive line of commercial doors and related door products and services.
- Communicate with customers to develop sales opportunities and solve problems through consultative sales.
- Cultivate sales within commercial and industrial building owners/managers, hospitals, colleges, K‑12 and municipalities in a territory covering Southern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois.
- Meet or exceed sales and gross profit performance standards.
- Provide timely, accurate estimates and proposals.
- Meet with existing and prospective customers, assess customers’ needs, and sell technical and mechanical goods and services.
- Develop scope of work for each proposal and personally handle every detail from initial call to closing the sale.
- Follow up quickly to close customer projects and participate in project management when necessary.
- Maintain and update Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) daily.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum two (2) years of outside sales experience.
- Ability to apply technical knowledge to mechanical systems.
- Experience with blueprints/plans and specifications highly desired.
- Outgoing personality and a natural affinity for taking care of customers.
- Valid driver’s license.
