As a Business Development Manager within PNC’s Financial Wellness Solutions, you will be primarily based in Milwaukee, WI. In this role you will work directly with clients to develop and drive a financial wellness program aligned with organizational goals and objectives, providing innovative solutions such as health and benefit accounts, student debt solutions, earned wage access and other financial wellness offerings.
Job DescriptionThe role focuses on acquiring new clients across financial wellness solutions, growing sales, revenue, and market share with relevant sales goals. You will typically work with clients with basic levels of risk and complexity of needs, generally with a higher degree of supervision. Under direction you will acquire, expand, and retain client relationships to generate revenue and deepen share of wallet.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Origination, financial analysis, negotiation and documentation of non‑credit products and services.
- Managing risk/return and driving quality for new and/or existing clients.
- Actively identifying and mitigating regulatory, reputational, and operational risks.
- Providing ideas and insights based on an understanding of the client’s needs and financial well‑being.
- Increasing client engagement and loyalty.
- Building an effective network of internal and external relationships to acquire new clients and expand existing ones.
- Presenting the full range of PNC’s products and services to clients.
- Using reporting and sales tools to identify and convert sales opportunities.
- Experience selling to professional services, manufacturing, healthcare, wholesale, or general services.
- Client relationship building and management.
- Financial analysis and decision making.
- Sales negotiation and prospecting.
- Tech savvy.
Typical requirements: university or college degree with 3+ years of relevant, direct industry experience. Certifications are often desired; a comparable combination of education, job‑specific certification(s), and experience may be considered.
