Job Summary
Haleon is seeking a Healthcare Professional Consultant to build relationships and promote its consumer healthcare brands to UK Health Care Professionals. The role focuses on delivering product science, patient benefits and educational sessions, while supporting the overall sales strategy in dental and oral health channels.
Key Responsibilities- Build relationships to drive HCP awareness, advocacy and recommendation of Haleon consumer healthcare brands by communicating product science and patient end benefits.
- Deliver education on category, condition and brand for Haleon’s key therapeutic areas to UK Health Care Professionals, targeting and segmenting based on account potential and willingness to recommend.
- Partner with HCPs across the Dental channel to advocate Haleon oral healthcare brands (Sensodyne, Corsodyl, Pronamel, etc.) to dentists, dental hygienists and therapists.
- Plan and conduct best‑in‑class educational sessions using face‑to‑face, remote, lunch‑and‑learns, larger forums and aligned social media activities.
- Ensure consistent in‑call quality, measured through field visit assessments, Expert‑Performance Tracking and Sales Force Effectiveness surveys.
- Maintain accurate records of calls, work completed and future plans using internal systems.
- Represent Haleon at exhibitions, events and PR initiatives, supporting the National Sales Team to accelerate local implementation of core strategies.
- Provide continuous updates and insights on expert environment developments, competitor intelligence and propose improvements to field operations.
- Comply with Haleon ethics, code of conduct and any other duties at grade, including overnight stays, evenings and weekends as required.
- Align field sales strategy with the HCP channel, Field Sales team and broader business strategy, formulating a territory plan to maximise reach and engagement.
- Collaborate with Practice Managers, Team Leaders and Business Owners to organise and plan group educational meetings, lunch‑and‑learns and product presentations.
- Act as a consistent ambassador of the expert field team, demonstrating Haleon behaviours at all interactions.
- Engage key decision makers with commercial and patient benefits, ensuring efficient use of time and company assets.
- Deliver individual KPIs and contribute to overall Field Team objectives.
- Essential: A degree or relevant dental industry experience.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills in face‑to‑face and remote settings for varied audience sizes.
- Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
- Preferred:
Dental industry experience or former Sales Representative role. - Experience working in a field‑based HCP or commercial environment.
- Understanding of Consumer Healthcare and Oral Healthcare marketplaces, including FMCG exposure.
