Direct Drive Logistics is looking to hire Inside Transportation Sales Professionals for our Milwaukee, WI office.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Grow revenue and relationships with new customers
  • Generate leads through cold calling, networking and referrals.
  • Utilize inside sales knowledge and work with inside reps.
  • Learn and sell all modes of services in the company portfolio.
  • Get Quotes for formal and spot bids.
  • Support carrier reps with the coordination of transportation freight in a cost-effective manner.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction- maintain close contact with all customers– including follow up on concerns or other issues.
  • Communicate customer problems to management.
  • Share experiences and best practices with the team to ensure success.
  • Exceed all standards for prospecting calls, presentations, proposals and closes.
  • Develop, execute, and monitor strategic and tactical goals to maximize sales, profit and to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.
  • Provide documented activity reports via CRM of your sales efforts on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

  • Excellent phone selling and communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills with ability to learn new systems
  • Detail-oriented in fast-paced setting
  • Sales experience is an absolute MUST! Bonus if in 3PL sales!
