The Boucher Automotive Group is hiring a USED CAR MANAGER!
PositionThe Boucher Automotive Group is seeking an energetic, experienced automotive sales manager for the position of Used Car Sales Manager. We have recently changed our sales process and have seen a significant increase in sales, and we need an enthusiastic manager to join our team! Used Vehicle Sales Managers are responsible for profitability in the used vehicle department and customer retention.
They must effectively manage sales personnel, have strong market knowledge, in-depth understanding of all sales departments' financial data, and strong customer relations skills. A Boucher Sales Manager is expected to uphold the highest ethical standards in every aspect of the job.
- Hiring and managing consultants, conducting daily sales meetings, and sales training.
- Overseeing standards for the facility and used vehicles.
- Planning and executing community and partner business promotions.
- Managing the supply, inventory, and marketability of used vehicles.
- Reviewing forecasts and profits for the department with the General Sales Manager.
- Working with the General Sales Manager on advertising plans, sales promotions, staffing needs, lease promotions, and compensation plans.
- Appraising vehicles.
- Overseeing the productivity and growth of the Internet Sales Team.
- Attending to customer issues and driving a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Issuing demonstration vehicles and ensuring that dealership records are maintained.
We prefer sales managers to have at least a year in a dealership sales environment, but retail experience in any sales industry merits consideration. Must be comfortable managing people and possess strong communication skills to deal with customers, employees, and vendors. They are required to maintain the department's profitability while controlling expenses and maintaining customer satisfaction, understand and keep abreast of the federal, state, and local regulations that affect their operations, and must also comply with these regulations.
Also, a valid state sales license is required.
