The company's primary market includes orthopedic hand and upper extremity surgery, as well as spine surgery. GAP Medical, LLC covers a territory that spans the state of Wisconsin and Northern Illinois, providing high‑quality products and support to healthcare professionals. The organization is growing and actively seeking to partner with other distributors and expand its team through additional sales representatives engaged as 1099 contract employees.

Role Description The Associate Sales Representative is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Milwaukee, WI, supporting sales activities across Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. This role involves promoting orthopedic and spine implants, conducting product demonstrations, and providing in‑person support to surgeons and clinical staff in operating rooms and clinics. The Associate Sales Representative will build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, manage a sales pipeline, and assist in territory development in collaboration with senior sales leadership and distributor partners.

Daily activities include scheduling and attending customer meetings, responding to product inquiries, coordinating inventory and case coverage, and documenting sales activities and outcomes. The role also requires ongoing product and industry knowledge development to effectively communicate value propositions and support clinical decision‑making.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability in sales or customer-facing roles, with skills in relationship building, territory management, and pipeline development.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain technical product information clearly to clinical professionals.
  • High level of professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail in supporting operating room procedures and managing product logistics.
  • Self‑motivated and goal‑oriented, with the capacity to work independently, prioritize tasks, and travel within the assigned territory.
  • Comfort working in clinical environments, including operating rooms; prior experience in medical device, orthopedics, or spine is preferred.
  • Ability to learn complex product lines quickly and stay current with industry trends and competitive offerings.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for frequent travel within Wisconsin.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field is preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
