Outside Sales Representative – Staffing & Construction

$55,000–$65,000 Base Salary + Uncapped Commission

Staffworks Group is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to grow our construction and skilled trades staffing business throughout the Milwaukee market. This role focuses on developing new relationships with construction contractors, skilled trades companies, manufacturers, and industrial employers by providing workforce and staffing solutions that help solve their hiring challenges.

The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, strengthening existing client relationships, and working closely with our recruiting team to deliver staffing solutions that meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and cold calling
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key decision-makers
• Conduct customer visits and job site walk-throughs to understand workforce needs
• Partner with recruiters to quickly fill construction and skilled trades positions.
• Partner with recruiters to ensure successful placements and customer satisfaction
• Maintain accurate CRM records and sales activity
• Manage and grow a pipeline of prospective clients throughout the Milwaukee market

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of sales experience preferred
• Staffing industry experience strongly preferred
• Previous sales experience calling on construction contractors, skilled trades companies, manufacturers, industrial employers, or staffing industry clients is highly preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
• Proven ability to develop and grow business relationships
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Comfortable meeting clients in person and working in a field-based environment
• Base salary of $55,000–$65,000 based on experience
• Uncapped commission opportunity
