Position Summary
The Corporate Sales Manager is responsible for driving corporate catering and event sales by developing relationships with local, regional, and national businesses, organizations, associations, healthcare providers, educational institutions, and community partners throughout the Milwaukee market and surrounding areas. This position serves as a key ambassador for the company's hospitality portfolio by generating new business opportunities, cultivating long-term client relationships, and expanding existing accounts.
The Corporate Sales Manager will work closely with the Director of Sales & Events to execute strategic sales initiatives, grow market share, and achieve annual revenue goals while delivering exceptional client experiences from initial inquiry through contract execution. Position is base salary + commission.
JOB SUMMARY:Business Development
- Prospect, solicit, negotiate, and secure new corporate catering and event business through networking, referrals, cold calling, community involvement, marketing initiatives, and outbound sales efforts.
- Develop and maintain relationships with corporate decision-makers, executive assistants, office managers, HR professionals, meeting planners, procurement teams, and community organizations.
- Identify opportunities for recurring business including office catering, board meetings, training sessions, conferences, employee appreciation events, holiday parties, fundraising events, and company celebrations.
- Represent Noble Catering & Events at networking events, chamber functions, trade shows, business expos, and community events.
- Research emerging market trends and identify opportunities to expand corporate catering services.
- Maintain an active pipeline of qualified prospects and manage opportunities throughout the sales cycle.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective corporate clients throughout the sales process.
- Respond to all corporate inquiries and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) within 24 hours while providing exceptional customer service.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, site visits, and tastings to showcase Noble Catering's/41fork Hospitality capabilities.
- Develop customized proposals and pricing solutions that meet client objectives while maximizing profitability.
- Build lasting relationships that encourage repeat business and long-term partnerships.
- Coordinate seamless handoff to the operations and event teams following contract execution while remaining available for ongoing client support.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals for revenue, profitability, and new business development.
- Track sales activity, pipeline progression, forecasting, and conversion rates using the company's CRM.
- Maintain accurate client records, contracts, proposals, and sales documentation.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports outlining production, opportunities, market trends, and business development efforts.
- Monitor account performance and identify opportunities for upselling and expanding existing client relationships.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop corporate sales campaigns and promotional initiatives.
- Build partnerships with local businesses, chambers of commerce, business associations, hotels, and venues to increase brand awareness.
- Contribute ideas for promotional campaigns, client appreciation events, networking opportunities, and strategic partnerships.
- Participate in sales meetings and strategic planning sessions to support company growth objectives.
- Assist in developing annual sales plans and market strategies for continued expansion of the corporate catering division.
