Reporting to the Director of Ecommerce, the Senior Ecommerce Account Manager will be responsible for all support to sales activities within assigned retail accounts. The Account Manager manages all aspects of the overall customer experience.
Essential functions:- Manage a portfolio of retail accounts to achieve long-term success
- Set up new products across all assigned accounts by completing required templates needed by specific accounts.
- Develop positive long-lasting relationships, as well as have frequent communication, with accounts
- Act as point of contact for accounts for dropship and handle all accounts’ individual needs, resolving any conflicts and providing appropriate solutions in a timely manner
- Conduct regular account site audits
- Report on statuses of accounts and transactions
- Analyze assigned accounts and suggest actions to improve sales performance, expand product placement/awareness, and identify opportunities for growth
- Collaborate with sales department to identify bestsellers, slow-sellers and/or discontinued items across assigned accounts and total ecommerce business
- Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives
- Identify promotional opportunities for and with assigned accounts
- Aid management of account marketing strategies
- Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks
- Manage the collaborative process to build product information to be used across accounts to set up products; product details, write web copy, etc.
- Cross-train on inventory processes and procedures to serve as a backup for the inventory coordinator.
- Assist in management of the site.
Adding assortment, adjusting pricing, etc. - Assist with projects needed for management and growth of marketplace accounts
- Collaborate and aid in execution of SEO optimization projects
- Other duties as assigned
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or another related field preferred
- Four plus years of experience in an Account Specialist/E-Commerce role preferred
- Experience in developing, organizing, and implementing sales plans
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, management, and peers to drive results
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact and communicate with all levels of the organization, as well as clients
- Strong knowledge of CRM software (Sage preferred) and MS Office software applications
- Proven record of being a self-starter working proactively and independently
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
- Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills
- Demonstrate high level of urgency and accountability
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
