Serve as the primary customer contact for Amgen products in the Milwaukee, Green Bay, Racine, Appleton and Kenosha territory
Provide clinical product knowledge and communicate product benefits to medical professionals
Help customers navigate the complex payer environment
Implement marketing strategy and promote Amgen products as directed by the District Manager
Deliver branded sales messages and conduct planned programs
Schedule and follow up on medical educational programs
Achieve or exceed territory sales targets through in-person and virtual engagement
Develop, service and manage customer accounts
Customize customer discussions based on customer needs
Ensure product access and resolve or triage reimbursement issues
Maintain product contracts
Provide feedback on marketing strategy and analyze sales activity and territory performance
Develop territory plans with the District Manager
Share best practices and continuously learn and grow with colleagues
Build the brand throughout the sales cycle while keeping patient impact at the forefront
Uphold Amgen values and collaborate, communicate and remain accountable
- Bachelor's Degree OR Associate's degree and 4 years of Sales experience OR High school diploma/GED and 6 years of Sales experience
- Bachelor's degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare/scientific field that is not sales related OR Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare/scientific field that is not sales related OR High school diploma/GED and 8 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare/scientific field that is not sales related
- Preferred:
Three or more years of sales experience within pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device industry - Preferred:
Product or hospital sales experience in oncology, nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology, inflammation, cardiology, neurology, endocrinology, hepatology, gastroenterology or infectious diseases - Preferred:
Local market knowledge - Preferred:
Established relationships in the territory - Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration - Adaptability with core competencies including Planning and Organizing;
