The Car Salesperson is a full-time, on-site role based in Milwaukee, WI. This role is responsible for greeting customers, understanding their vehicle needs, and guiding them through the selection, test drive, and purchase process. Daily tasks include presenting new and pre-owned vehicles, explaining features and benefits, providing transparent pricing, and assisting customers with financing and warranty options. The Car Salesperson will maintain up-to-date product knowledge, follow up with prospective and existing customers to support long-term relationships, and contribute to store sales goals.
The role also involves accurate documentation, collaboration with service and finance teams, and adherence to Ewald's customer satisfaction and low-price guarantee policies.
- Strong customer-focused mindset with skills in Customer Satisfaction and Customer Retention.
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to engage with diverse customers and team members.
- Experience or strong interest in Automotive Sales, including comfort with product demonstrations and consultative selling.
- Ability to learn and retain detailed vehicle, financing, and warranty information and explain it clearly to customers.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to a non-discriminatory, inclusive customer experience.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, on-site retail environment with evening and weekend availability as needed.
- Basic computer skills for CRM systems, email, and online inventory tools; prior dealership experience is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, marketing, or related fields is beneficial.
