The Senior Living Director of Sales and Marketing drives occupancy by building relationships with prospective residents and their families to understand their specific needs. They manage the entire move-in process—from initial contact and assessment to final admission—while developing internal and external referral networks. Additionally, they track residency trends and collaborate with the management team to execute effective marketing strategies.
Senior Living Director of Sales and MarketingQualifications:
- Must have at least one year of experience in senior living sales and marketing.
- Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, as well as must be willing to handle residents, staff, and visitors, based on whatever maturity level at which they are currently functioning.
- Must be able to maintain strong working relationships with hospital Social Workers, Doctors and other members of the healthcare professional community.
- Be knowledgeable with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Work to keep the community full by meeting budgeted move-in targets.
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly outreach goals and maintain the required number of community contacts.
- Must be able to maintain strong working relationships community leaders, doctors, healthcare providers, and religious groups who interact with seniors and their families.
- Maintain a professional and friendly presence to ensure the local community has a positive view of our home.
- Connect with families, give tours, and evaluate potential residents' needs to see if they are a good fit.
- Guide qualified candidates through the final decision process to get a firm commitment to move in.
- Create and distribute brochures or other materials to attract interest and give presentations at local events.
- Lead support groups or participate in local organization activities to share information about our community.
- Always follow HIPAA and Resident Rights policies to keep personal and medical information confidential and secure.
