PositionSecurity Officer - Patrol Driver in Milwaukee, WI — unarmed patrol officer at a tech/telecom location. This is a flex/part-time driving post requiring a valid driver’s license meeting AU Driver Policy Requirements. You will conduct routine patrols and maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, document activity, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. You will also support a flexible schedule through the Claim a Shift platform.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Provide customer service to client employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a tech-focused location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, lobbies, parking areas, and exterior perimeter to identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or unauthorized access.
- Monitor access points and security-related systems such as alarms and cameras; document observations according to site requirements.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, notifications to site contacts, and coordination with local responders as needed.
- Complete routine reports and incident documentation, including patrol logs, visitor and/or badge checks, and communication updates to Allied Universal supervision and site management.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour
Job Schedule: Flexible/On-Call
Must be able to pick up additional hours when needed.
