Position: Security Guard - Gatehouse Driver

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Job Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.80 / Hour

Requirements: 21 or older; valid driver’s license; high school diploma or equivalent

Note: This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license and meeting AU Driver Policy requirements. Bring an agile, reliable mindset, innovate on daily processes, and work with integrity through teamwork in a people-first culture.

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and distribution location.
• Control access at entry points by verifying identification, issuing temporary credentials, managing visitor and contractor sign-in and/or sign-out, and directing guests to approved areas.
• Coordinate vehicle and delivery access by checking driver credentials, confirming appointments and/or shipping documents, documenting inbound and outbound traffic, and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including notifications, documentation, and support for site instructions and local responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, loading docks, and exterior areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related or maintenance concerns.

• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
