• UNARMED Security Officer- MILWAUKEE
We are currently looking for security guards for a site in Milwaukee, WI (331 W Wisconsin Ave, Milwaukee). The Unarmed Guard secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, and permitting entry. They obtain help by sounding alarms, prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities, inform violators of policy and procedures, and restrain trespassers.
Unarmed Security Guards maintain the safety of the public and keep everyone and the property secure. Effective and efficient communication is vital, and technology plays an integral role in enhancing security.
- Patrol the premises and maintain a high level of visibility
- Monitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorized personnel access the facility
- Remove trespassers when necessary
- Respond to reports of suspicious activity
- Report on daily activities and any security incidents
- WI Security License
- Driver’s License
- Previous experience as a Security Guard or in a similar position is preferred
- Valid registration as a security officer
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong understanding of public safety and security procedures
- Excellent written communication skills and report‑writing ability
- Ability to operate surveillance equipment
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Attention to detail and strong observational skills
- Ability to work without direct supervision
Day and afternoon shifts available.
Compensation: $17.00 per hour
