** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public transportation location.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.

+ Monitor access points and public areas, assisting with crowd management, directing foot traffic, and addressing suspicious behavior in accordance with post instructions.

+ Support daily operations by communicating with site personnel and public agency representatives, completing routine reports, and following Allied Universal protocols for incident response and escalation.

* + Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
