What You'll Do- Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and public areas, assisting with crowd management, directing foot traffic, and addressing suspicious behavior in accordance with post instructions.
- Support daily operations by communicating with site personnel and public agency representatives, completing routine reports, and following Allied Universal protocols for incident response and escalation.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
