Security Agents are responsible for maintaining a safe environment for guests and employees on both park property and employee residence hall. The ideal candidate should have an eye for detail, a knack for problem‑solving, and an ability to remain calm in stressful situations.

Night Security Agent – Seasonal (Noah’s Ark)

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Enforce all park and dorm rules and regulations.
  • Monitor park assets to ensure the safety of all guests and hosts.
  • Maintain constant vigilance of the assigned location, identify potential issues or safety concerns, and communicate them to other departments and/or leadership in a timely manner.
  • Maintain compliance with company and industry best practices, policies, and procedures to create a safe environment for colleagues and guests.
  • Monitor resident safety and communicate conflicts to supervisor.
  • Assist after‑hours resident arrivals with check‑in and communicate with HR.
  • Accurately document any incidents in the residence hall in a timely manner for HR to address with residents.
  • Assist dorm residents with mail/package pick‑up.
  • Take control of emergency and intense situations while remaining calm.
  • Professionally manage crowd control during emergency situations.
  • Exercise clear and concise communications with all park departments.
  • Utilize electronic card access, closed circuit television, and other audio/visual monitoring systems; monitor and supervise the response to all reports or irregular conditions, including the unauthorized entry of persons or vehicles to protected buildings and areas, breaches of perimeter security or any other suspicious activities occurring on the property.
  • All other duties as assigned by leadership.
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; equivalent work experience will also be considered.
  • 1+ year of previous security or related experience highly desired.
  • Wisconsin security identification card preferred but not required.
Language

Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English;
Spanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus.

Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age to comply with Wisconsin child labor laws.
  • Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to work third shift (overnight) if the park security operates on a 24‑hour schedule.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from your scheduled shift.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
  • Ability to safely and efficiently operate motorized vehicles and equipment.
  • Ability to comprehend and carry out verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to apply knowledge of security methods, procedures, interviewing, listening, and note‑taking techniques for specific situations.
  • Ability to deal fairly, objectively, and courteously with the public without regard to race, ethnicity, religion, or political beliefs.
  • Ability to analyze people and/or situations quickly and calmly and take appropriate actions in a quick and effective manner.
  • Ability to operate a variety of electronic equipment, such as cameras, radios, personal computers, or other communication devices.
  • Ability to professionally and calmly deal with stressful and/or tense situations.
  • Ability to collaborate with other team members, external first responders, and emergency personnel during emergency situations.
  • Must possess exceptional customer service skills, with an ability to resolve questions, problems, issues, and concerns in a positive and professional manner.
  • Ability to maintain certifications as required by assignment.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, and remain on feet for the majority of the workday.
