Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.15 / Hour

Minimum 3 plus years of Security experience OR prior Law Enforcement or Military experience required

Must be 21+ years of age

Job Schedule: Wed 01:30 PM - 09:00 PM
Thur 01:30 PM - 09:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while maintaining an armed presence in accordance with site post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and document security-related incidents, observations, and/or interactions according to site protocols.
• Support staff, visitors, and/or vendors with directions and general assistance while reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy concerns to the appropriate contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security-related supervisor/manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
