Public Safety Officer

Advocate Health Care - 2900 West Oklahoma Avenue - Responsibilities:
Provide security services with a customer-service approach, focusing on professionalism, fairness, and compassion in accordance with policies and training;
Conduct interior and exterior patrols, identify vulnerabilities, hazards, and fire conditions, and manage patient valuables and contraband searches;
Assist patients, visitors, and teammates with information, directions, and physical help while maintaining traffic control and monitoring conduct on premises;
De-escalate conflicts and respond to emergencies, including violent or potentially violent incidents, using appropriate safety procedures and tools;
Coordinate with law enforcement and first responders, and maintain training standards for radio communications, de-escalation, and use of department equipment
