Inmate Transport Officer

As a Inmate Transport Officer in Milwaukee, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a driving Security Professional supporting government inmate transportation operations, you will help maintain a controlled environment through attentive monitoring, vehicle operations, routine inspections, and clear communication. You will remain visible to help deter incidents while delivering professional service and working closely with a dedicated team.

Pay Rate: $28.00 / Hour

Must be 21+ years of age and Must have a valid driver's license

Prior Law Enforcement or Military or Corrections experience required

• Tue: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Wed: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Thur: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Fri: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

• Be a graduate of a Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Corrections Officer License.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
