Job Type: Full-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt
Compensation: $23.50 – $26.50 per hour, plus overtime potential.

Primary work sites located throughout Wisconsin (projects may also include nearby Illinois areas).
Employees are responsible for reliable transportation to and from job sites.

A successful Master Craftsman consistently performs at or above the company’s maximum production standard

This role is ideal for experienced craft workers who combine technical mastery with teamwork, dependability, and a strong desire to contribute to the development of others.
Basic QualificationsMinimum 4 years of general painting experience
Minimum 2 years of commercial or industrial painting/coatings experience
Ability to drive company truck and trailer (certification preferred)
OSHA 10 Certification preferred (may be obtained post-hire)
Expert knowledge of materials, equipment, and jobsite safety procedures
Strong communication skills with both customers and crew members
Valid Driver’s License
, clean MVR, and reliable transportation
Drug and alcohol screening required
High school diploma or equivalent preferred, not required
Completion of at least one industry certification (e.g., NCCER or equivalent)
Desired QualificationsAbility to work both independently and as part of a team
Proven reliability and leadership within field crews
Desire and ability to teach and mentor others
Highly self-motivated with strong attention to detail
Performs effectively in a fast-paced production environment
Key ResponsibilitiesDemonstrate expert-level adherence to all safety, quality, and production standards
Perform work at a master-level skill within assigned trade area(s)
Maintain consistent production at or above company “maximum standard” benchmarks
Support a culture of continuous improvement and mentorship by sharing knowledge and best practices
Engage in career development and training through company programs and the Painters USA Career Ladder
Safety ResponsibilitiesParticipate actively in company safety and health programs
Report hazards, unsafe work practices, and incidents immediately to supervisors
Wear and maintain proper personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
Follow all company,
federal, state, and local safety regulations (including OSHA compliance)
Conduct work safely and efficiently in accordance with company and client-specific safety standards
Report all accidents and incidents promptly and accurately
Collaborate with supervisors and the Safety Department to identify and correct hazards
Physical RequirementsAbility to lift 15–50 lbs frequently
Repetitive bending, kneeling, climbing ladders
, and working with power tools or equipment
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
