Master Flooring Craftsman – Lead High‑Quality Commercial & Industrial Projects!

About the Role

Painters USA is seeking an expert‑level Master Flooring Craftsman to lead and execute high‑quality commercial and industrial flooring projects across Wisconsin. This senior‑level role requires deep technical knowledge, precision installation skills, and the ability to support and guide crews while maintaining our strong commitment to safety and professionalism.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead installation, repair, and finishing of advanced commercial/industrial flooring systems (epoxy, urethane, urethane cement, concrete polishing, resurfacing, safety striping, etc.)
  • Perform expert‑level surface prep: heavy grinding, shot blasting, moisture mitigation, slab correction, crack injection, patching, and leveling
  • Mix and apply flooring products according to technical specifications and manufacturer guidelines
  • Operate advanced flooring equipment (industrial grinders, planetary polishers, HEPA vacs, mixers, trowels) safely and efficiently
  • Train, mentor, and support flooring crews; assist foremen with project execution
  • Oversee quality control standards and ensure craftsmanship excellence on every job site
  • Maintain clean, safe, and well‑organized work areas
  • Follow all required job‑site and company safety procedures
What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years of commercial or industrial flooring installation experience (Epoxy/urethane coatings, polished concrete, resurfacing, moisture mitigation, or specialized floor systems)
  • Master‑level knowledge of flooring materials, equipment, prep processes, and troubleshooting
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide crew members
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to high‑quality workmanship
  • Comfortable working in commercial/industrial settings, on varied surfaces and job‑site conditions
  • Valid driver’s license preferred
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Willingness to travel and work varied shifts and schedules, depending on project needs
