We’re looking for an experienced Senior Maintenance Technician to take ownership of the day-to-day maintenance operations across multiple residential properties in the Milwaukee, WI area. In this role, your day will include traveling between properties, responding to resident work orders, diagnosing issues on the spot, and ensuring each building remains safe, functional, and well-maintained.
You’ll handle a wide variety of tasks—from repairing HVAC issues and plumbing fixtures to troubleshooting electrical components, appliances, and general building systems. You’ll also complete preventive maintenance, inspect mechanical rooms and common areas, identify potential issues before they become problems, and communicate clearly with the property management team.

What You’ll Do- Travel between multiple Milwaukee‑area properties to complete assigned work orders
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC issues, plumbing fixtures, electrical components, appliances, and general building systems
- Perform carpentry, flooring, tile, drywall patching, and painting as needed
- Conduct routine inspections of units, common areas, and building mechanical rooms
- Communicate professionally with residents and property management regarding scheduling and updates
- Source and purchase materials using a company credit card; upload receipts and track materials
- Document all work (notes, photos, status updates) in the work order system
- 10+ years of property maintenance, building engineering, or similar hands‑on experience
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC troubleshooting, plumbing repairs, electrical repairs (non‑live work), carpentry and general property maintenance, appliance diagnostics
- Ability to prioritize and manage work independently across multiple sites
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliable transportation & valid driver’s license
- Personal tools and a 6‑ft ladder
- Comfortable using a smartphone for work orders (experience with App Folio is a plus)
- Competitive hourly pay: $25–$35/hour
