In this role, you’ll help our customers keep their buildings running efficiently and safely by working on HVAC control systems. You will:
- Program, troubleshoot, install, and commission HVAC control systems
- Handle service and warranty calls using Johnson Controls tools and testing equipment
- Communicate directly with customers and provide high‑quality technical support
- Recommend system repairs, updates, and improvements to address customer needs
- Work alongside industry‑leading technicians and grow your career with a global leader
- Deliver expert‑level service and solutions to help customers optimize their building performance
- Load and configure Johnson Controls system software
- Perform system commissioning and diagnostics
Document work, changes, and commissioning details - Use electronic test equipment to calibrate systems
- Complete required administrative tasks (time sheets, reports, site documentation)
- Participate in company‑provided and self‑driven training
- Communicate job progress to customers, site contacts, and internal teams
- Follow all safety standards and attend safety training
- Provide recommendations and quotes to help customers improve efficiency
Required Qualifications:
- A vocational program, associate degree, or similar training in electronics, HVAC, mechanical systems, computer tech, or related fields
- Servicing electronic/mechanical systems in HVAC
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems and sequences
- Technical aptitude in mechanical and electro‑mechanical systems
- Ability to use common hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment
- Solid computer skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and listening skills
HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $23.08 - 31.73 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience,knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
