Building​/Facility Maintenance

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Preventive Maintenance
• Perform routine inspections and testing of critical systems (HVAC units, rectifiers, fire & security alarms, boilers, water softener, cameras) to identify and address issues before they cause disruptions.
• System Repairs:
  Troubleshoot and repair plumbing (leaks, clogs), electrical (lighting, switches, outlets), and mechanical systems.
• General Upkeep:
  Handle minor carpentry, painting, and drywall repairs, as well as groundskeeping tasks like snow removal or landscaping when needed.
• Safety & Compliance:
  Adhere to OSHA regulations, NFPA standards, and local building codes to ensure a hazard-free workplace.

• Technical Proficiency:
  Demonstrated experience in skilled trades, including basic mechanical, plumbing, and electrical work.
• Problem-Solving:
  The ability to perform root cause analysis and implement effective solutions for equipment failures.
• Communication:
  Clear verbal and written skills for reporting issues, coordinating with vendors, and interacting with staff or guests.
